Commercial redevelopment of an existing Church in Bath. Working with Urban Creation, Shu Architects & Skeletal Consulting Engineers Ltd.
Constructed in 1844 as a Swedenborgian Church, the property is built of Bath ashlar stone, featuring a rare period facade with large external sash windows. No.10 is in keeping with the rest of the buildings of its time, providing modern office space within a historic Georgian setting.
This £1.35m office unconditional purchase redevelopment programme to create a Grade A self-contained office building. The project involves the refurbishment of the entire building consisting of office accommodation on lower ground, ground and first floors.
With a total of 4,178 sq ft, this office building will provide modern open plan floor plates to an exposed services finish, allowing the building to be let as a whole or on a floor-by-floor basis.
The intention is for the specification was to have a serviceable 15 year life span and all existing M&E, plant and former tenant fit out that were removed, replaced and upgraded.
The office floor plates at the beginning of the project were divided up into cellular offices, meeting rooms and kitchenettes etc.
No.10 Henry Street has seen its strip out phase almost complete; with plans for this Grade A redevelopment to offer open plan working with an exposed services finish.
