The provision of Building Services consultancy services associated with the proposed Scala development in Bath.

The project consists of the part-conversion of an existing Co-Op store to student accommodation and community space, refurbishment of the Co-Op and also the creation of new-build student accommodation on a demolished section of the existing building.

The project is to be constructed in two key phases. The first phase includes the construction of ten apartments in the Mews.

The second phase will commence once part of the existing Scala building has been demolished; this includes the construction of the new Courtyard Building (72no. student flats) and the refurbished portion of the Scala Building which houses the new 16 bed student accommodation, community space and Co-Op.

The Co-Op and community space is to be designed and fitted out to a shell and core standard.

The proposed development will include the following:

The Mews Building:

  • 8no. 1-bed apartments;

  • 1no. 3-bed apartment.

The Courtyard Building:

  • 72 no. student flats with ancillary accommodation.

The Scala Building:

  • 743m2 Co-Op;

  • 512m2 Community Space;

  • 16no. student flats.
