The provision of Building Services consultancy services for Guide Dogs, National Centre – New Build project, Leamington Spa.

The project comprises of the construction of a single-storey new Regional Training Centre on the Tollgate site as well as some remodelling of the existing National Centre. The Tollgate Site is a previously undeveloped site adjacent to the existing Guide Dogs National Centre.

The existing site is already owned by the Guide Dogs and contains a few redundant training and office accommodation buildings which will be demolished.

The proposed new Regional Training centre will be single storey and comprise of Guide Dog care and training facilities. The external landscape will comprise of new circulation road, car park areas and training paths.

Box Twenty have been involved from the early stages of this BREEAM Very Good project, taking the Client through a range of servicing options and developing the Energy Strategy to meet Local Planning and BREEAM requirements.

We have developed the design through to a detailed Stage 4 set of documents for a traditional contract, and have also been appointed to act as Technical Advisor on behalf of the Client reviewing Contractors proposals and inspecting the installations on site.
