The provision of M&E consultancy services associated with the provision of a new “Happy Days” nursery in Yate on behalf of Deeley Freed.

The project is a new build single story Nursery in North Yate with the aim of acheiving BREAAM very good.

Box Twenty have worked with the architect and developer from RIBA Stage 1 to RIBA Stage 4 Tender issue to complete a tender design package.

Box Twenty have then continued working for the developer to review the contractors technical design package through construction.

Working with the end user Box Twenty identified clear performance requirements for the teaching spaces to ensure that safe teaching conditions for young children can be maintained throughout the year.

Box Twenty Completed a developed design and tender package, with review of contractors technical design package.

This has been achieved by designing new VRF Heating and cooling systems which using low GWP refrigerants to provide comfortable teaching conditions whilst still achieving the required BREEAM credits.

The project has been granted planning permission and work will start on site in 2023.
