The provision of mechanical, electrical and plumbing consultancy services associated with the refurbishment residential project in Bayswater, West London.

The project is the refurbishment is of an existing development of 6 large terraced townhouses into 3 blocks with a total of 36no. high-end apartments for private sale. The building is Grade II listed. The project involves a full strip out before the refurbishment and remodel.

Key feautures for the project include: New electrics, integration of AV systems, entry system, new plumbing throughout, gas boilers, new drainage with waste water heat recovery, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and cooling module to temper warm air in summer ventilation.

The existing services infrastructure has been retained, with the addition of sprinklers and dry risers.

Box Twenty have been involved in the project from the early concept stages and have worked closely with the CIT and Map Architecture to develop a RIBA Stage 3 design for tender under a D&B contract which brings these high end apartments up to modern day standards.

The Listed status of the building has presented key challenges to modernising the services, and our design has been sensitive to the heritage of the building preserving the key features and Georgian style aesthetic.

Box Twenty are appointed to act as Technical Advisor to the Client through construction reviewing Contractors proposals and inspecting the installations on site.
