The provision of electrical, mechanical and plumbing consultancy services associated with the pre-acquisition building services survey of a circa 30,000 ft2 commercial property in Quay House in Bath.
The project involves the pre-acquisition survey of the building services for the office building which comprises circa 30,000 ft2 commercial space arranged over ground to fifth floors plus a basement level.
Box Twenty were appointed to inspect the building as the Client is proposing to take over the lease which had another 10 years remaining. Our assessment of plant, equipment and installed M&E systems was based upon a minimum economical operational life expectancy of 10 years.
The building also houses four lifts which were surveyed.
The building was significantly refurbished in 2002, and there were a small number of replacement and PPM works proposed to be undertaken.
